A Pinched Nerve Caused Me a Lot of Pain

I had a pinched nerve that was really bothering me. I had a good friend who suggested that I try acupuncture, but that really did not do anything for me. I decided the best thing to do would be seeing a chiropractor in Sacramento since they are the experts in back and neck pain. It was my neck that was causing a lot of the pain, but I also had pain going down my right arm as well, making it numb quite often. This would affect a lot of different areas of my life, and it was painful to boot.

I was able to get an appointment with a chiropractor in the area who came highly recommended by some work colleagues. I knew that some of them had been seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis, and I was impressed when they told me about their visits in more detail after I asked about them. I knew just from that that a trip to their chiropractor was going to help me immensely, or at least I hoped so. That hope turned out to valid too. The chiropractor did some imaging tests first and then a physical examination in order to devise a treatment plan for me.

Because of the symptoms that I had explained, he felt sure it was a pinched nerve. He explained exactly what this is, why it causes so much pain, and the treatments that can be done for it. I had my first spinal manipulation done that day, and I did feel some relief from it. He explained that it was not a one and done process, and that I would need to come back for regular adjustments for a few weeks. Just from how I felt after that first adjustment, I knew that would not be a problem. I feel so much better today, and I still go back even though that pain is gone because I want to continue to feel this good.
